Does anybody really know what time it is? (not a rhetorical question)

I love Halloween at least as much, if not more than, most people but...
Come on! It's August, people!! Mid-August at that. The Nationals haven't even been mathematically eliminated from the pennant race yet. I would say that this means Christmas stuff is going to show up in stores NEXT week, except I'm sure it's already out in some places.
