That said, it's time once again for the annual "Best of the Bay" awards, presented by Creative Loafing magazine. Would it be great to win one? Absolutely! Will I suffer in any meaningful way if I don't? Of course not. Probably.

Vote early, vote often, vote your conscience (whatever that means). Or don't do any of that. Regardless, this is the one and only time I'm mentioning it. No mock smear campaigns against "opponents", no relentless, obnoxious reminders every three days.
