Somebody knew what it is!

My friend Donna found out that what I have growing on my front door are Lacewing eggs. I knew right away that a Lacewing was some kind of bug and not the name of a sexy female superhero (although it should be)...

ME: "So, bug eggs. Good bugs or evil bugs?"
HER: "They are referred to as a beneficial insect. They, like ladybugs, eat aphids, which eat your hedges."
ME: (quick check of dictionary to see what beneficial means) "Oh, good. Good bugs. Got it. Good!"

There's more info about Lacewings and their eggs, and better pictures, here. Thanks, Donna!
